Cheltenham Swing Dance - JENNY THOMAS IS COMING TO TOWN

With more than 33 years’ professional dance experience, Jenny has worked in almost every genre of dance. From Classical Ballet, Tap and Musical Theatre. To now being one of the world’s top choreographers in Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston and Authentic Jazz Dances from 1920s to 1950s. Whether an improver or advanced dancer, we know from first-hand experience that Jenny will bring something for you and we’ll have a lot of fun learning with her.

This is a mixed level class and we ask that you can comfortably social dance your way through a song in Lindy Hop. Sign up via this form, we will do our best to balance leads and follows, and it will be on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets are £35 per person.

TIMETABLE: 11:10: Hall opens 11:30-15:30: THREE HOURS of teaching with one hour split into breaks over the session. The breaks will of include a 30 minute rest for lunch – please bring your own lunch with you. 15:40-17:00: Tea-dance and practice session. There will be free tea and coffee available (please bring your own mug). You can also purchase drinks from the bar. We are hoping for a few volunteers to bring a homemade cake to be shared at the tea dance.
